Miller Marine Training (2012) is a BC-based company run by Michael (Mitch) Miller, a Transport Canada accredited instructor affiliated with Maritime Education Associates at the Western Maritime Institute, located on Vancouver Island near Ladysmith BC.  

Mitch currently holds the Master 150 Gross Tonnage, Domestic Certificate and is accredited by Transport Canada to instruct the following courses:

• Bridge Watch Rating
• Chartwork and Pilotage 1
• MED A1
• MED A2
• SDV-BS (MED A3)
• MED Domestic Vessel Safety
• SVOP
• ROC-M

When Mitch isn't instructing marine safety courses, he's either building up sea time aboard BC Ferries vessels based out of Nanaimo and Gabriola Island, or spending time in school working toward his Watchkeeping Certificate to be completed in the spring of 2018. 

Although an avid sailor since he was a child, Mitch's commercial marine background began in 1980 aboard Great Lakes bulk freighters.
